Its been a long time since I have read a book so quickly. This book grabbed a hold of me and didn't let go. I hated that it ended and have to get the next book asap. I love stories involving angels and this one was no exception. It was refreshing to have a new take on the angels versus demon story. I loved that it was hard to know who the good guys were. The way the story was written out you could be on either side because both sides had valid points. I loved the character of Taylor. Taylor is the type of girl I like to see in books because she isn't afraid to be herself. She is ok with who she is as a person. I can say there was a period where I wasn't happy with her just listening to anything Gabriel spoon fed her. Gabriel wasn't a character I liked at first but I fell in love with him after I realized his love for Taylor. I understood the flaws he had and it made me understand him more. He is just conflicted but in the end understood what he needed to do. Chris and Sam were also good characters. Sam is the typical best friend to a character like Taylor. I loved Chris from the start and he was such a different take on a demon. Overall this was a great book and I can't wait to read the others.
Thanks to the author and the ladies in the Goodreads Shut Up and Read Group.
