Goodreads Summary:

It was Easter Sunday; the day Lilly's life went from safe and comfortable to dangerously unfamiliar. Her transformation takes her from a small town girl having an affair with a low ranked gangster in the Montiago crime syndicate, to a woman of grace and fortitude married to the head of the organization.Easter's Lilly is an inspired journey from the idyllic to the darker side of self-discovery. Read as the over-privileged brothers embark on their journey that twists and turns down the road of unbridled passion in this first book of the series.

My review:
I started out reading this book and thought I had missed some pages. The relationship with Lilly and Johnny just seemed so quick. There was no build up to their relationship and it just seemed they jumped into it. I also didn't like Lilly at first because she just seemed so clingy and too easy going. She started to grow on me though and I feel in love with her and wanted to keep reading to see her story play out. I personally couldn't stand Deigo and all but feel in love with Max and Hector. While I didn't care for Diego with his relationship with Lilly I loved him interacting with his brothers. Their relationship was great to see even with all the flaws they have. They really had a true love/hate relationship. I loved to see how how much Max really cared for Lilly and took care of her from the beginning and I can't wait to see their relationship grow. On that same not I really didn't care for all the bed hopping in the beginning. It was just too much going on. I loved Hector because he felt like the big brother that even one loves. Overall I would recommend this book to others. It has a little bit of everything. There is suspense, intrigue, love and a good bit of twists and turns thrown in. I have to read the next book in this series due to the cliffhanger ending.

Join me in March for my blog stop for the second book in this series Brother Number 3.
