Accountant Harry Ralph Emerson has always been a by-the-numbers kind of guy. But when he finds himself trapped at work sprouting an obscene amount of hair, he knows his odds for maintaining normalcy are zero to none. After a frantic Internet search, Harry goes through the OOPS—Out in the Open Paranormal Support—checklist and comes to a disheartening conclusion: He's turning into a werewolf and needs help ASAP.
Werewolf Mara Flaherty has long carried a torch for the sexy single accountant at Pack Cosmetics, even after her attempt to seduce him went down in flames. When her sister-in-law, Marty, shows up to handle Harry's OOPS emergency, she tasks Mara with showing the hirsute hottie the ropes. But Mara knows Harry's condition is a result of her lab experiment gone wrong—and the previously mild-mannered object of her affection is about to give her a piece of his mind . . .
Once again this was another great installment to this fun series. I love how this author gives us friendship, romance, mystery and tons of laugh out loud moments. We get into this book with up meeting Harry and him turning to the girls of OOPS to figure out what is wrong with him. We soon learn that Harry is now a werewolf and he needs the girls to deal with it all. I think the other reason I love this series is that the usual gang of ladies is always willing to lend a hand to others. The girls ask for the help of Mara who is the sisterinlaw of Marty and who is also hiding a secret. I found myself instantly clicking with Mara. I liked her from the start because she was a woman doing well for herself in a male dominated family but she stood on her own and refused to let them tell her what to do.
As the story continues on this one we learn more about Harry and why he is so straight laced and by the book and I liked seeing him and Mara work together through his issues as he tried to adjust. They also had a great chemistry and I couldn’t wait to see where it would lead. Harry also has a lot on his plate as we find out once you keep listening. The ladies of OOPs along with Harry and Mara also have to figure out who is behind a whole different issue that pops up for them. I have to say that once the truth all comes out I saw a lot of coming but I still wanted to see how it would all play out.
Overall this was another great audio and I enjoyed every minute of it. I think most people would think that with as many books that are in this series it was start to get boring but this author still finds ways to make it refreshing and new. The narrator also brings to life the characters and gets you engrossed in the story. I highly recommend this series as a great audio series to get into. I think most people will love the action. laugh out loud moments and the underlying friendships and romance.
